Local business plans fundraiser for Haiti

Painting with a Twist, located at 570 Sawdust Road, will join sister locations across the southeast in hosting the Paint with a Purpose" fundraiser for Haiti, Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the nonprofit organization Haiti Mission, Inc.
Attendees at the benefit will receive instruction on reproducing a Haitian cottage painting on canvas that they may bring home at the end of the event. The cost is $45 per person, 100 percent of which goes toward Haiti Missions and also provides each participant with instruction, canvas, and all necessary supplies.
