An inspiring performance for Haiti relief

Teenagers from around the Greater Houston area will band together for an afternoon of singing and dancing March 14 in Sugar Land. The concert/performance will raise cash for Compassion International's Haiti Earthquake Relief.
Aaron Boudreaux of The Woodlands is one of approximately 20 performers donating his time.
Boudreaux, a 17-year-old junior at College Park High School, said he'll sing something inspirational.
"I know the Haiti earthquake hit them really hard," Boudreaux said. "I want to sing something to lift their spirits and know there is still hope."
Boudreaux has a lengthy background in musical theater. Last September, he performed in "13" at Theatre Under the Stars in Houston. He has appeared in several Class Act Productions plays in The Woodlands, most recently as Joseph in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat." You can read a review of how he did here.
Boudreaux, a member of his school's Rhythm and Blues Choir, is currently performing in a play at his school's Black Box Theater.
"Crimes of the Heart" opens Wednesday night at 7 p.m. The play runs through Feb. 27. Tickets are $5. For more information, email vlabonski@conroeisd.net or call 936-709-3135.
