LSCS partners with chiropractic college

This release comes from the Lone Star College System:
Lone Star College System and Texas Chiropractic College announced last week that the two entities have formed a partnership to more easily accommodate student transfers.
The articulation agreement between the two colleges aims to create a seamless transition for LSCS students and graduates seeking a bachelor of science degree while at the same time pursuing a doctor of chiropractic degree. The effort will allow students to complete the prerequisite hours for admission and transfer to TCC.
The agreement provides yet another career opportunity for Lone Star College students," said Dr. Richard Carpenter, LSCS chancellor. We are proud to partner with Texas Chiropractic College in an arrangement that we believe will directly benefit our students."
Dr. Richard G. Brassard, president of Texas Chiropractic College said "At TCC we have long been aware of the excellent educational reputation of the Lone Star College System in the greater Houston area. We are excited to form this partnership with them, and I look forward to welcoming more of their students to our campus."
The agreement, which was signed by officials last week at the LSCS offices in The Woodlands, takes immediate effect. Currently enrolled LSCS students are eligible.
TCC was founded in San Antonio in September 1908 and relocated to Pasadena in 1965 to accommodate growing enrollment. It is the fourth oldest chiropractic college in the United States and is today recognized as a leader in chiropractic education.
