YMCA offering self defense class for kids

This release comes from the South Montgomery County YMCA:
The South Montgomery County YMCA is hosting a self defense class specifically for youth, ages 5 and older on Saturday, February 27th. C.A.R.E (Child Assertive Resistance Education) gives your child the information and skills to help resist abduction. Information and activities will be presented in a child-friendly and age appropriate manner. The class will include interactive exercises, educational games, decision-making scenarios and physical resistance techniques.
The class is open to everyone. YMCA Membership is not required.
Class Times are: Ages 5 9 will meet Noon 2:30pm.
Ages 10 and older will meet 3:00 5:30pm
All classes will be held at the Shadowbend YMCA located at 6145 Shadowbend Place in The Woodlands.
