Fashion show fundraiser set at AVIA

The Diamond Star Ranch, a non-profit organization that operates a working horse ranch for at-risk teen girls, will hold a fashion show and benefit on Sunday, from 2 to 4 p.m., at the AVIA Hotel in Market Street. The event, titled Diamonds & Stars, Friends & Fashion", will raise funds for two recipients to attend Pine Brook Farms riding school this summer.
The fashion show segment of the event will highlight the Diamond Star Fashion line of casual, western, and evening wear. In addition, members of the Houston Texans cheerleaders will be on-hand for a meet-and-greet, and Olympic Gold Medalist diver Laura Wilkinson will hold an exclusive autograph signing session.
Tickets for general seating are $20, and are available at the door, or for front row VIP" seating, limited tickets are available for $45.
