Anti-everything put the brakes on this racer
Alden Bridge resident David Koller may have won two corvettes in his lifetime, but he only raced one for the first time last weekend.
"Well I didn't have much fun," Koller said. "I had to start in the back."
The 2010 Grand Sport has an anti-"everything" switch, including brakes, Koller said. He wasn't able to turn that switch off during qualifying rounds Feb. 12-14 in Angleton, so he had to start the actual race dead last, behind 32 cars.
But Koller managed to pass 12 of them, and had a great time doing so.
"I'll be okay," Koller said. "Everybody loved seeing that car."
Koller will race again March 5-6 in College Station.
