Lady Cavaliers win district

The College Park Lady Cavaliers won the District 14-5A championship for a fourth consecutive season. College Park punctuated the latest conquest with a thrilling 61-60 victory over Lufkin in Tuesday's regular season finale at home.
Priyanka Duvvuru and Alexia Sanders led the way with 14 points each. Danielle Munoz added 12 points.
This one feels good because it's a young team and we're essentially rebuilding our program," College Park coach Kip Anderson said. The kids have worked extremely hard. I'm very proud of them."
The Lady Cavaliers will play Westfield in a bi-district playoff game either Monday or Tuesday at a time and site to be determined.
