Chamber sets health, business showcase
The committee planning the Chamber's 28th Annual Health & Business Showcase met to launch this year's theme and move forward with the plans for this event. The Chamber coordinates numerous events monthly and annually to enable businesses to network, but the Health & Business Showcase is the crux of what the Chamber does...bring businesses together to not only exchange services, products, and ideas, but provide an opportunity for each company to showcase their core business. The Health & Business Showcase is to area businesses what the Taste of the Town is to the food and restaurant industry in our community.
The Chamber is fully aware how difficult it has been to hunt for new business in a slow economy, so this year the Health & Business Showcase team is going help companies with their hunt. Realizing that it's a jungle out there, the committee decided on a safari theme and will be stalking 'best in class' products and services to showcase. They will also be on the prowl for sponsors and vendors. To participate you must be a Chamber member.
Mark your calendars for April 22, for the Chamber's 28th Annual Health & Showcase, and start packing for the 'great hunt.' The event will be held at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m., and will not only feature the best of what the business community has to offer, but will also include door prizes. You'll be hearing about it from committee members at all the Chamber functions, but in the meantime, information can be obtained by contacting Teresa Starr at 281-363-8110, or teresa.starr@woodlandschamber.org
