Firm plans facility with Alzheimer's focus

The LaSalle Group, Inc. has purchased a 3-acre site in The Woodlands' Village of Sterling Ridge for construction of Autumn Leaves of The Woodlands, a 46-bed, 38-unit memory care facility, according to Greg Jordan, director of commercial for The Woodlands Development Company.
The development will include a 26,000-square-foot building and 20,000 square feet of secured courtyards. Sixty percent of the facility will cater to residents with Alzheimer's, with the remaining residents made up of patients with other forms of dementia or memory impairments. Constant Care Management Co., a sister company to LaSalle, will manage the property.
The facility, which is situated in the Terramont area of Sterling Ridge, is now under construction, with an August, 2010 opening planned. For more information about Autumn Leaves in The Woodlands, call Desire Whitten at 888-662-8886, or send e-mail to dwhitten@constantcare.com.
The LaSalle Group was represented by Steven C. Meacher, vice president of development. Greg Jordan represented The Woodlands Development Company.
The Woodlands is a 28,000-acre master-planned community located 27 miles north of downtown Houston. It is a project of The Woodlands Development Company, a limited partnership of Morgan Stanley and General Growth Properties, Inc.
