Game of the week: College Park vs. Lufkin

The College Park Lady Cavaliers welcome in the Lufkin Lady Panthers on Tuesday night in the 2009-10 regular season finale.
Not only is College Park looking to sew up its fourth consecutive district championship under coach Kip Anderson, but also revenge for a first-round loss.
Both teams are headed for the postseason and Tuesday's game acts as a tune-up for what both teams hope will be an extended journey into the playoffs.

Lufkin: The Lady Panthers remain in the playoff hunt. They've clinched a spot, it's just a matter of where they'll finish. Tuesday's game could have a bearing on Lufkin finishing anywhere from first to third place and the Lady Panthers would like nothing more than to complete a sweep of the three-time defending district champion Lady Cavaliers. Lufkin won the first meeting 68-57 and has defeated every team in the district except The Woodlands.
College Park: Megan Shafer leads the team in scoring, averaging 16 points per game, and in rebounding, averaging just fewer than six per game. She also leads the team in 3-point shooting, hitting 35 percent (28 of 80), and free throws made (89). Lexxus Ward leads the team in assists (141) and steals (142).
