Hospital sets open house, health fair

Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Hospital is celebrating its 25th Anniversary of serving The Woodlands and surrounding communities with a Community Open House and Health Fair. The free event is open to the public and will feature activities for the whole family, including:
-Health screenings (non-fasting) such as glucose, cholesterol, stroke risk, carotid artery, bone-heel density and blood pressure
-Tours of Life Flight, a Children's Memorial Hermann Pediatric Ambulance, an operating room, the Breast & Bone Center, the Family Birth Center and the Cancer Center
-Pet therapy dogs meet-and-greets
-Technology demonstrations, including a variety of imaging tools and the daVinci surgical robot
-Ask the Pharmacist booth
-Hands-on activities for kids and adults
-Face-painting, simulated pregnancy belly for dads, diaper derby
-Attendee gifts, drawing for an iPod Touch and more!
