In celebration of February as American Heart Month, St. Luke's The Woodland Hospital is offering the following Heart To Heart" free series of informative health events:
Thursday, February 4, from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. - Peripheral artery disease and the latest treatments - Dr. George A. Nasser.
Thursday, February. 11, from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. - "When to call 911; Heart Attack Signs and Symptoms" - Dr. Kedarnath A. Vaidya.
Thursday, February. 18, from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. - FAST Stroke Facts - Dr. Randall Wright.
Wednesday, February. 24, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. - Healthy Heart Cooking Class by Chef Jim Gates.
Thursday February 25, from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. - Heart Disease in Women - Dr. Margit Nemeth.
The events will be held in the St. Luke's The Woodlands Hospital conference room and are free and open to the public. Seating is limited, so reservations are encouraged by calling (936) 266-4050.
