Game of the week: TWHS vs. College Park

The Woodlands Highlanders will host the College Park Cavaliers as the second, and final, round of the District 14-5A schedule gets underway on Tuesday.
The Woodlands got the better of it in the first round with a 59-53 victory on the road. College Park looks to return the favor.
It's the first of a crucial two-game road swing for The Woodlands, which visits Oak Ridge for a 7 p.m. game on Friday. College Park, meanwhile, will entertain the long-range bombers from New Caney at the same time Friday.

What's at stake: In addition to bragging rights in The Woodlands, it's one of five remaining district games. They are all huge from here on out.

TEAM HIGHLIGHTS
College Park: The Cavaliers jumped into the win column in district play with a 63-46 victory over Lufkin after opening 14-5A play with consecutive losses to The Woodlands and New Caney. James Allen, Adam Rowe and Evan Cooper all came up big in the must-win game, scoring 18, 16 and 15 points in order.
The Woodlands: The Highlanders bolted out of the starting gate, winning its first three District 14-5A game; the only team of six in the district to accomplish the feat. Among those victories was a 59-53 district-opening victory over the Cavaliers. Wes Cole continues to lead a very balance scoring attack, averaging 13 points per game.
