Sophomore hopes for higher batting average
A: It would definitely be my dad. He has a really important job and is motivated every day. He really taught me how to play.
Q: What are your main goals this year?
A: I definitely want to win state. An individual goal would be to have a higher batting average than I did last year, just improving on every aspect of my game.
Q: How have your coaches made you a better athlete?
A: They have pushed me to work harder and achieve more. Without them, it's easier to settle for less, but they always push you to be better, and they can see the real potential in you.
Q: How do you prepare for a big game?
A: It's just getting in that mindset. Listening to a little music, putting my cleats on. It's just getting in the mindset to play the game.
