The Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center welcomed more than 49,000 skaters this season, it was recently announced.

According to a The Woodlands Town Center press release, "For the fourth consecutive year, the Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center, presented by Your Houston Area Chevy Dealers, set a record for the number of skaters during the recent holiday season. A total of 49,318 skaters visited the Ice Rink from Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012 to Monday Jan. 21, according to The Woodlands Convention and Visitors Bureau. Fifty-seven percent of those visitors reside outside The Woodlands."

"The Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center has become a signature destination for The Woodlands," said Nelda Blair, chairman of The Woodlands Convention & Visitors Bureau, according to the release.

The Woodlands Ice Rink is at 9606 Six Pines Drive, The Woodlands.
