Spring Flea Market scheduled for March 23
The Woodlands Township's Spring Flea Market will be held from 7-10 am. Saturday, March 23 at Town Center Parking Garage in The Woodlands.
According to a press release from The Woodlands Township, "The flea market is a cooperative event with all The Woodlands villages participating. A small fee is charged to the sellers to defer flea market expenses. There is no fee for buyers. Any proceeds over cost are funneled back into the community in the form of scholarships, grants and other village association projects."
The event will be held at Town Center Parking Garage on the southwest corner of Six Pines Drive and Lake Robbins, The Woodlands.
The Woodlands Township was founded less than a decade ago with the merger of Community Associations of The Woodlands and the Town Center Improvement District of Montgomery County. Its purpose is to provide governmental services for businesses and residents in The Woodlands, including police, fire protection and parks and recreation. Bruce Tough is chairman of the township's board. Administrative offices are at 2801 Technology Forest Blvd.
