The Woodlands Board of Directors Workshop scheduled for Feb. 21

The Woodlands Board of Directors Workshop will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 21.

According to the published agenda, the following new business is scheduled for discussion:

1. Receive, consider and act upon approval of the minutes of the Jan. 10 special board meeting, Jan. 17 regular board meeting, Jan. 23 regular board meeting and Jan. 23 town hall meeting and volunteer recognition for the Board of Directors of The Woodlands Township;

2. Receive, consider and act upon adoption of a resolution adopting a list of qualified brokers authorized to engage in investment transactions with The Woodlands Township

3. Receive, consider and act upon a recommendation from the Audit Committee to accept the Hotel Occupancy Tax Agreed-Upon Procedures Report for 2011;

4. Receive, consider and act upon a recommendation from the Audit Committee to accept the Convention Center Booking and Blocking Agreed-Upon Procedures Report for 2011;

5. Receive, consider and act upon a recommendation from the Audit Committee to accept the Convention Center Replacement Reserve Agreed-Upon Procedures Report for the years ended December 31, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011;

6. Receive, consider and act upon adopting a resolution extending appointments to the Economic Development Zone of The Woodlands Township;

7. Receive, consider and act upon the purchase of vehicles from Caldwell Country Ford through the Texas Buy Board;

8. Receive, consider and act upon the purchase of irrigation systems equipment;

9. Receive, consider and act upon the award of bids for roofing repairs and replacement umbrellas for Rob Fleming Aquatic Center;

10. Receive, consider and act upon the renewal of the Electrical Services Agreement with Miam Electric;
