Two Cooper school students advance in Presidential Scholars Program
The Cooper School students Alex Alexander and Sahem Faruqi recently reached the U.S. Presidential Scholars Program semifinals.
Two students at The Cooper School recently were named as semifinalists in the U.S. Presidential Scholars Program.
"Alex Alexander and Sahem Faruqi, members of the The John Cooper School Class of 2013, were named among 560 semifinalists chosen from more than 3,000 candidates nationwide in the 2013 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program. In April, the White House Commission on Presidential Scholars reviews the applications of all semifinalists and will select up to 121 Academic Scholars and 20 Arts Scholars as finalists, who will then be honored for their accomplishments in Washington, D.C," according to a press release from The John Cooper School.
