The Woodlands grad Cole plays in Hartford loss
The Woodlands High School graduate Wes Cole scored four points in the University of Hartford's 66-64 loss to conference rival Maine on Feb. 13 at Alfond Arena in Orono, Me., the Hartford website reported.
Cole also recorded two assists and two steals for the Hawks, who are 14-11 on the season and 7-5 in conference.
Hartford's next game is 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16 on the road against Albany.
Cole is a sophomore guard for University of Hartford. He is a 2011 graduate of The Woodlands High School, where he was first team 14-5A All-District selection as a junior and senior. He was Montgomery County offensive MVP as a senior, and also a Texas Association of Basketball Coaches All-Region and All-State honoree that season, when he scored 1,276 points. The insurance/finance major is from The Woodlands.
