College Park grad Bender plays in MIT loss
College Park High School graduate David Bender played for Massachusetts Institute of Technology in its 65-59 loss to conference rival Worcester Polytechnic Institute on Saturday, Jan. 19, in Worcester, Mass., the MIT website reported.
Bender and the Engineers are 12-4 on the season and 3-2 in the NEWMAC.
MIT's next game is 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23 at Clark University.
Bender is a sophomore forward for Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a 2011 graduate of College Park High School in The Woodlands. The chemical engineering and materials science and engineering major is from The Woodlands and is the son of William and Sophie Bender.
