Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion ranked No. 2 amphitheater by Pollstar
The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion was recently ranked No. 2 in the top 100 amphitheaters in the world by Pollstar magazine.
The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion was recently ranked No. 2 in the top 100 amphitheaters in the world by Pollstar magazine.
According to a press release, "The award is based on the number of tickets sold in 2012."
The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion is an outdoor amphitheater for arts, educational and entertainment events in The Woodlands. It is the summer home of the Houston Symphony and hosts some of the Houston Ballet's performances. It opened in 1990 and hosts about 75 events during its March through November season. It is named after Cynthia Woods Mitchell, the wife of former Mitchell Energy and Development Corp. and The Woodlands founder George P. Mitchell.
