Interfaith of The Woodlands names LSC-Montgomery president as honorary chair for volunteer luncheon

Interfaith of the Woodlands recently named Dr. Austin Lane, president of Lone Star College-Montgomery, the honorary chair for the 2013 Five Who Share Spring Luncheon.

According to the college press release, "The annual spring event honors five outstanding community volunteers in the areas of Health, Seniors, Fine Arts, Youth and Education. The winners are presented with a Service of Excellence Award during the luncheon, which will be held Friday, March 1 at the Marriot Waterway Hotel and Convention Center."

"“We are delighted that Dr. Lane has agreed to lend his support to such an important event for Interfaith. With the theme of this year’s luncheon focusing on education, Dr. Lane was the perfect person to serve in this role," Ann Snyder, president and CEO of Interfaith, said in the release.
