Woodlands High School students qualify at Texas Thespian State Festival for nationals

Several Woodlands High School students qualified for the national competition at Texas Thespian State Festival.

According to a press release from Conroe Independent School District issued Friday, Dec. 21, "All teams and individuals were very successful qualifying to go to nationals and compete this summer at the National Thespian Festival in Lincoln,  Neb."

The qualifying students are the following:

Monologue: Andrew Hollinger

Duet acting: Jonah Yohana, Aaron Evans

Group acting: Christy Beauchemin, Ben Thory, Will Burke, Ashley Long, Madeline Musico, Katerina Zukis, Collier Litel, Kate Long, Rylee Smith

Solo musical: Megan Miller

Duet acting: Casey Hale, Rachel Schardt

Group acting: Caitlin Craft, Faith Fryer, Hallie Teague, Addie Breaux, Molly Much, Kameryn Mattingly, Katherine Turner, Devin Cherry, Andrea Czobor, Madison Pugh, Soraya Herbert

Scene design: Camila Devereaux

Marketing: Eilidhl McNicol

Stage management: Amanda Luke

Costume design: Sydney Elias

Costume construction: Tia Lui

Hair and makeup: Soraya Herbert, Chloe Decaire

Devereaux and Evans also qualified for college scholarships.
