The Woodlands runners complete 2012 MetroPCS Dallas Marathon - Half Marathon

Twenty-eight athletes from The Woodlands completed the 2012 MetroPCS Dallas Marathon - Half Marathon on Sunday, Dec. 9.

The runners from The Woodlands and their finishing times were Ron McCauley, 1:44:16; Fernando Zuniga, 1:51:52; Henry Posamentier, 1:52:09; Michael Smith, 1:59:26; Abraham Luna, 2:00:51; Lee Allen, 2:01:37; Cassie Tomchik, 2:01:41; Liliana Barquet, 2:04:46; Susan Venter, 2:06:38; Alicia De Alva, 2:08:13; Holly Lund Daniels, 2:09:08; Parag Suri, 2:14:26; Ana Castro, 2:20:00; Maria Del Carme Perez, 2:20:00; Bertha Chiunti, 2:20:37; Monica Vega, 2:20:44; Eduardo Mejia, 2:26:08; Tracy Woellert, 2:27:35; Bob Beuerlein, 2:32:14; Gary Tomchik, 2:33:46; Luis Proa, 2:34:29; Randy Bradley, 2:34:46; Suz White, 2:37:15; Suzanne Stephens, 2:38:04; Maria Silva, 2:41:41; Scott Husband, 2:49:35; Luis Proa, 2:53:09; and Raymond Middleton, 3:12:17.

According to organizers, 9,878 runners finished the 13.1-mile race, which began and ended in downtown Dallas.

Andrew Letherby, of Austin, was the men's overall winner with a finishing time of 1:09:45, while Ashley Johnson, of Dallas, was the winner in the women's category with a time of 1:21:37.
