ABA Reinforcement registration
Registration is underway for a ABA Reinforcement class, set to begin Saturday, Feb. 9. at the The Woodlands United Methodist Church.
According to a press release, "Topics to be covered in this workshop include an overview of the types of reinforcement, key elements of effective reinforcement, how to apply differential reinforcement and token schedules. Box lunch provided but no child care is available. TEA Continuing Professional Education credits are available. Discounted rates will apply to registrations made by Wednesday, Jan. 30.
The course will be taught by Ellen Catoe, a board certified behavior analyst. She serves as a manager for the day treatment program at the behavior treatment and training center at Texana Center. She is also the community education chair person for the Lone Star Association of Behavior Analysis. She received her bachelor's degree in psychology from Southern Methodist University and her master's degree in applied behavior analysis from Auburn University.
Classes will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., starting Saturday, Feb. 9.
Classes are $50 for individuals, $75 per married couple, $25 for students with documentation and $35 per attendee for groups of five or more.
The The Woodlands United Methodist Church is at 2200 Lake Woodlands Drive, The Woodlands.
