About Strickland: Strickland is a freshman forward for Harding University. She is a 2012 graduate of The Woodlands High School. While in high school, Strickland was named most valuable defensive player in her district as a senior, three-time All-District and two-time Academic All-District. Strickland averaged 11 points and nine rebounds during her junior year. Strickland is from The Woodlands and is the daughter of Don and Gale Strickland.
