Sales roundup for The Woodlands, week ending Dec. 9

There were 19 sales in The Woodlands for the week ending Dec. 9, 2012, according to Blockshopper.com.

One notable transaction in the area was the sale of 14 Silver Lute Place. Mark Sandburg, Eileen E. Lohrengel and Eileen E. Sandburg sold the home to Natasha M. Rees and Steven D. Rees on Friday, Dec. 7.

Built in 2005, the 2,898-square-foot, four-bedroom, three-bath home is located in the Village of Grogan's Forest neighborhood, in the Village of Grogan's Forest subdivision.

Other transactions include the sale of 114 Zephyr Bend Place to Scott Gardner and Teresa Gardner and the sale of 7 Split Rail Place to Melissa Dalton Grau.

The Village of Sterling Ridge neighborhood had the most sales in the area with seven, followed by Village of Creekside Park with three and Village of Indian Springs with three.

Sales volume was 26.9 percent lower than the previous week and 9.5 percent lower than the same week in 2011.
