Griffin named principal of Houser Elementary

Angela Griffin was named the principal of Houser Elementary during the Board meeting Tuesday, Dec. 19, it was recently announced.

According to a news release, "Board members approved the recommendation of Superintendent, Dr. Don Stockton. Griffin, the current assistant principal at Wilkinson Elementary in Conroe ISD, will start her new role immediately."

Griffin earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A & M University and a Master of Education degree from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. She has served as a Conroe ISD administrator for five years and was a Conroe ISD teacher for one year. She began her career in education as a first grade teacher in Friendswood.

"I am honored to have the opportunity to serve as principal in this fine school district," Griffin said in the press release. "I look forward to joining the staff at Houser Elementary in serving the students and parents in every way that I can."
