Cheerleader, hoopster finds time to give back
A: Cheering on our football team to an undefeated season last year. It was exciting motivating the fans to cheer our boys to victory every week.
Q: What are your hobbies and extracurricular activities?
A: I love to travel. I have traveled with my parents to Kenya, South Africa and Uganda doing relief work. In Uganda, I was able to meet two girls, Aisha and Immaculate, who we sponsor monthly to put them in school and provide food.
Q: Who inspires you?
A: My basketball coach, Audra May, is by far the most influential person in my life. She teaches us we are ladies first, but that ladies can play tough on the court. She expects 100 percent every time we step on the court, even during practice.
