Visitors to the gasbuddy.com website reported rates at 27 gas stations in and around The Woodlands as of Friday, Dec. 21. The average price of regular unleaded gas in The Woodlands is $3.05 per gallon. Gasbuddy.com listed the Houston average at $3.02, the state average at $3.03 and the nationwide average at $3.25.

The least expensive gas in The Woodlands was reported to be $2.97 for a gallon of regular unleaded, which gasbuddy.com contributors logged at Valero, 172 FM -1488; and Murphy USA, 3042 College Park Drive Near Ih-45.

A gasbuddy.com user reported the most expensive gas in the area was $3.15 at Conoco, 16058 Bridlewood Drive.
