The Woodlands High grad Strickland contributes to Harding University victory
The Woodlands native Anna Strickland contributed two points in Harding University's 72-53 home win against Missouri Southern State University on Saturday, Dec. 15 at Rhodes Field House in Searcy, Ark., according to Harding University's website.
The freshman forward also recorded one block for Harding, which improved to 4-4 on the season.
Strickland is a 2012 graduate of The Woodlands High School. As a senior, Strickland was named most valuable defensive player in her district, three-time All-District and two-time Academic All-District.
During her junior year, Strickland averaged 11 points and nine rebounds.
She is the daughter of Don and Gale Strickland.
