The Woodlands High grad Cole contributes to University of Hartford victory
The Woodlands native Wes Cole played for University of Hartford in a 58-51 win against Rice University on Saturday, Dec. 15 at Tudor Fieldhouse in Houston, according to University of Hartford's website.
The sophomore guard recorded three rebounds for the Hawks, who improved to 6-5 on the season.
Cole, an insurance/finance major, is a 2011 graduate of The Woodlands High School, where he was first team 14-5A All-District selection as a junior and senior.
In his senior year, he was Montgomery County offensive MVP and a Texas Association of Basketball Coaches All-Region and All-State honoree, scoring 1,276 points.
