College Park High grad Cooper contributes to University of Hartford victory
Houston native Evan Cooper contributed nine points in University of Hartford's 58-51 win against Rice University on Saturday, Dec. 15 at Tudor Fieldhouse in Houston, according to University of Hartford's website.
The freshman guard also recorded seven rebounds, three assists and one steal for the Hawks, who improved to 6-5 on the season.
Cooper, an international studies major, is a 2012 graduate of College Park High School in The Woodlands, where he was named the Courier's All-Montgomery County Player of the Year.
During his senior year, he also earned the District 14-5A MVP award and was named First Team All-District 14-4A for scoring 75 points with four rebounds and three steals.
