The Woodlands grad Cole plays in Hartford loss
The Woodlands High School graduate Wes Cole scored six points in the University of Hartford's 75-59 loss to Niagara Wednesday, Dec. 12, at Taps Gallagher Center at Niagara University, the team's website said.
Cole, a native of The Woodlands, also recorded four rebounds for the Hawks, who are 5-5 on the season. Hartford's next game is 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15 at Rice.
Cole is a sophomore guard for University of Hartford. He is a 2011 graduate of The Woodlands High School, where he was first team 14-5A All-District selection as a junior and senior. He was Montgomery County offensive MVP as a senior, and also a Texas Association of Basketball Coaches All-Region and All-State honoree that season, when he scored 1,276 points. Cole is an insurance/finance major at Hartford.
