Magnolia runners complete GE Run Thru the Woods (1-Mile Children's Race)
A total of 22 athletes from Magnolia completed the GE Run Thru the Woods (1-Mile Children's Race) on Nov. 22 in The Woodlands.
The runners from Magnolia and their finishing times were Amy Lyons, 12, 6:42; Hannah Gault, 9, 6:43; Owen Kuck, 10, 7:12; Lawson Lowry, 10, 7:41; Brian Lupton, 11, 7:45; Jack Voelker, 8, 8:00; Sabastian Guerrero, 9, 8:14; Cole Maney, 9, 8:15; Evan Gault, 6, 8:49; Alaina Lupton, 9, 9:07; David Powell, 9, 9:21; Sterlin Driver, 6, 9:40; Preslee Mazzapica, 8, 10:06; Parker Stokely, 5, 10:49; Trinity Forcier, 10, 11:00; Emerson Lee, 9, 11:03; Luke Mazzapica, 5, 11:30; Miles Delzer, 4, 11:51; Matthew Holmes, 8, 12:12; Isaiah Bozarth, 6, 12:21; Carys Maney, 6, 12:27; and Hayley Forcier, 9, 14:26.
According to race organizers, a total of 551 runners finished the 1-mile race, which began and ended at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.
Calder West, of The Woodlands, was the men's overall winner with a finishing time of 6:00, while Nicole Faria, of The Woodlands, was the winner in the women's category finishing with a time of 6:29.
