The Woodlands runners complete GE Run Thru the Woods (1-Mile Children's Race)

A total of 299 athletes from The Woodlands completed the GE Run Thru the Woods (1-Mile Children's Race) on Nov. 22 in The Woodlands.

The runners from The Woodlands and their finishing times were Calder West, 12, 6:00; Grady Easton, 10, 6:18; Caleb Hardy, 11, 6:21; Nicole Faria, 7, 6:29; Gino Gerard, 11, 6:32; Elizabeth Davison, 10, 6:35; Westley Criswell, 12, 6:35; Kate Burns, 12, 6:42; Madison Manherz, 12, 6:43; Andrew Davison, 9, 6:44; Lauren Davis, 9, 6:46; Reid Hill, 11, 6:47; Rodrigo Garza, 10, 6:47; Josh Guillory, 11, 6:49; Sarah Piper, 12, 6:53; Miranda Rubio, 11, 6:54; Emilio Llevenas, 7, 7:01; Pablo Vazquez, 12, 7:02; Shyla Stone, 10, 7:04; Andrew Tautenhahn, 11, 7:04; Otto Gerstl, 10, 7:08; Blake Pitts, 9, 7:08; B'Elanna Halterman, 11, 7:10; Bennett Evans, 9, 7:11; Austin Messenger, 11, 7:12; Zander Pruett, 9, 7:12; Kendall Wolf, 11, 7:14; Vivian Yu, 12, 7:15; Hunter Kolodziej, 9, 7:15; Caroline Batton, 11, 7:16; Sofia Fuentes, 11, 7:17; Kyle Rubel, 10, 7:18; Jason Sharer, 8, 7:19; Sylvia Perry, 11, 7:20; Gabriella Woll, 10, 7:21; Raul Luzardo, 8, 7:21; Austin Hardy, 8, 7:22; Sammy Gerard, 9, 7:23; Olivia Behne, 10, 7:23; and Barrett Saims, 11, 7:23. Another 259 local runners also completed the race.

According to race organizers, a total of 551 runners finished the 1-mile race, which began and ended at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.

Calder West, of The Woodlands, was the men's overall winner with a finishing time of 6:00, while Nicole Faria, of The Woodlands, was the winner in the women's category finishing with a time of 6:29.
