John Cooper School's open house scheduled for Dec. 18

Kindergarten students Dawson Zhang and Isabella Melin dissect owl pellets at the culmination of their unit on the study of owls.

John Cooper School will be holding an open house at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18 in the Lower School.

The open house is for parents of kids in preschool, kindergarten and first grade.

According to a press release from John Cooper School, "The event invites the parents to meet with administrators and teachers to learn more about the curriculum and programs offered at the independent, college preparatory day school that is currently celebrating its 25th year in The Woodlands."

"Due to facility expansion on campus, we have additional new openings in the lower grades," said admission director Craig Meredith in a press release.
