College Park grad Bender plays in MIT loss
College Park High School graduate David Bender scored two points, but the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's men's basketball team lost 68-44 Rhode Island College Thursday, Nov. 29 at The Murray Center in Providence, R.I., according to the MIT website.
Bender and the Engineers are 5-1 on the season.
Bender is a sophomore forward for Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a 2011 graduate of College Park High School in The Woodlands. The chemical engineering and materials science and engineering major is from The Woodlands and is the son of William and Sophie Bender.
