The Woodlands grad Cole aids Hartford victory
The Woodlands High School graduate Wes Cole scored nine points as the University of Hartford won a home court victory, 80-77 home win against Central Connecticut State University on Nov. 24 at Chase Arena in West Hartford, according to University of Hartford's website.
The sophomore guard also recorded three rebounds and two assists for Hartford, which improved to 2-3 on the season.
Cole is a 2011 graduate of The Woodlands High School, where he was first team 14-5A All-District selection as a junior and senior. He was Montgomery County offensive MVP as a senior, and also a Texas Association of Basketball Coaches All-Region and All-State honoree that season, when he scored 1,276 points. The insurance/finance major is from The Woodlands.
