St. Luke's Lakeside Hospital named top place to work in health care
St. Luke's Lakeside Hospital in The Woodlands has ranked 26th in the nation for best places to work in health care.
St. Luke's Lakeside Hospital recently ranked 26th in the "Modern Healthcare" top 100 list of best places to work.
According to a press release, the list recognizes the best employers in the nation's health care industry based on information from employers and employees about company policies and practices, benefits and demographics.
"'Modern Healthcare' congratulates the organizations named as the 2012 Best Places to Work in Healthcare," Fawn Lopez, vice president and publisher of 'Modern Healthcare,' said in the release. "These health care employers are models for others who are seeking to build a culture of support and engagement, resulting in optimum performance levels and multiple benefits for patients and customers."
This year, St. Luke's surpassed its previous 2011 ranking of 50th in the nation.
