College Park grad Bender helps in MIT win
College Park High School graduate David Bender played for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in MIT's 86-53 home-court win over Emmanuel College Tuesday, Nov. 20 at Cambridge, according to the MIT website.
Bender recorded one rebound, an assist and one steal for MIT, which improved to 3-0 on the season.
MIT's next game is Saturday, Nov. 24 at home against Curry College.
Bender is a sophomore forward for MIT. He is a 2011 graduate of College Park High School in The Woodlands. The chemical engineering and materials science and engineering major is from The Woodlands and is the son of William and Sophie Bender.
