The event will raise funds to benefit wounded veterans at the Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio. The fundraiser will take place from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the South County Community Center, 2235 Lake Robbins Drive, The Woodlands.

"This is our inaugural Veteran's Day fundraiser," Gable stated in a press release. "We have high hopes for its success."

Barbecue meals will be available for a suggested donation of $10. The meals include brisket, sausage, beans, potato salad and a beverage. Preorders are available by calling Captain Jimmy Drummond at 281-541-7738 or emailing vetsevent@gmail.com
