Market Street The Woodlands to host Chanukah celebration
A crowd of several hundred viewed last year's menorah lighting, the first for The Woodlands Township.
The Chabad Synagogue of The Woodlands will host its second Grand Chanukah Celebration and menorah lighting from 4:30-6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9 at Market Street in The Woodlands.
Led by Rabbi Mendel Blecher, the lighting of a nine-foot, seven-branched candelabra will take place at 6:15 p.m. Traditional Chanukah food and musical performance will follow the lighting, according to a press release.

Located across the street from The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, Market Street is bound by Lake Woodlands Drive, Lake Robbins Drive, Grogans Mill Road and Six Pines Drive.
