Thanksgiving Day Run Thru the Woods 1-Mile Children's Race Nov. 22

The Thanksgiving Day Run Thru the Woods 1-Mile Children's Race, sponsored by the South Montgomery County YMCA and GE, is scheduled to take place Thursday, Nov. 22.

Proceeds from the race will benefit youth charities in Montgomery County including the South Montgomery County YMCA Partners Scholarship program, Operation Graduation, Conroe ISD AFJROTC Program and the Education Outreach Program at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.

The entry fee is $30 for advance registration, or $40 on the day of the race.

The race, set to start at 7:45 a.m., will be held at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, 2005 Lake Robbins Drive, The Woodlands.
