The Woodlands grad Strickland plays in Harding University loss
The Woodlands High School graduate Anna Strickland contributed a point as her Harding University women's basketball team lost 78-62 to conference opponent Central Missouri Thursday, Nov. 15 at UCM Multipurpose Bldg in Warrensburg, Mo., according to Harding's website.
Strickland, a freshman forward also recorded four rebounds, an assist and one block for the Bisons, who are 1-1 on the season.
Harding University also played Saturday, Nov. 24 on the road against St. Mary's University (Texas).
Strickland is a 2012 graduate of The Woodlands High School. While in high school, Strickland was named most valuable defensive player in her district as a senior, three-time All-District and two-time Academic All-District. Strickland averaged 11 points and nine rebounds during her junior year. Strickland is from The Woodlands and is the daughter of Don and Gale Strickland.
