The following college football players, all with The Woodlands high school ties, have scheduled action this week:
Perry Cooper, University of Nevada-Las Vegas
High school: The Woodlands High School

About Cooper: Cooper, a redshirt sophomore linebacker at UNLV, graduated from The Woodlands High School in 2010. The hospitality management major is a native of The Woodlands and the son of Keith and Lela Cooper.
Colin Weingrad, Eastern Michigan
High school: The Woodlands College Park High School
This week: Saturday, Nov. 17, versus Western Michigan University
About Weingrad: Weingrad is a 2009 graduate of The Woodlands College Park High School, where he was a three-time all-district honoree including a first-team selection as a junior (2007-08) and senior (2008-09). During his senior campaign Weingrad recorded 82 tackles, five sacks, three forced fumbles, two interceptions and two fumble recoveries from his linebacker position. After graduating high school, Weingrad played one season (2009-10) at The Hun School in Princeton, N.J. He is from The Woodlands.
Chad Lindsay, University of Alabama

About Lindsay: Lindsay is a 2010 graduate of The Woodlands High School, where he was a second-team EA Sports and PrepStar Dream All-American as an offensive lineman. ESPNU ranked Lindsay as the top offensive guard prospect and No. 74 overall in the country for the class of 2010. He was the No. 15 guard as judged by Scout.com and the No. 41 offensive lineman by Rivals.com. He was a three-year starter at The Woodlands and a three-time all-district honoree. As a senior (2009-10) Lindsay was named to the Touchdown Club of Houston all-greater Houston football team. He also earned first-team all-state honors as a senior and junior (2008-09). Lindsay chose the Crimson Tide over scholarship offers from Oklahoma, LSU, Auburn, Tennessee, Georgia, Arkansas, Notre Dame, Mississippi State and Nebraska.
