Weekly sales roundup for The Woodlands, week ending Oct. 21

There were 21 sales in The Woodlands for the week ending Sunday, Oct. 21, according to Blockshopper.com.

One notable transaction in the area was the sale of 43 Tapestry Forest Place. Kedas Management LLC sold the home to Deborah K. Dekazos on Oct. 21. The 2,614-square-foot, two-bath home was built in 2005 and is located in the Village of Grogan's Forest neighborhood, in the Village of Grogan's Forest subdivision.

Other transactions include the sale of 27 Rillwood Place to Robert G. Honeycutt (trustee), Robert G. Honeycutt (living trust), Robert G. Honeycutt (living trust) and Irma D. Todd (trustee) and the sale of 14 Scenic Brook Court to Venugopal Mannem and Chandana Mannem.

The Village of Sterling Ridge neighborhood had the most sales in the area with five, followed by the Village of Indian Springs with five and the Village of Alden Bridge with three.

Sales volume was 4.5 percent lower than the previous week and 41.6 percent lower than the same week in 2011. The Woodlands has averaged 31 sales per week during the last 12 months.
