Cynthia Woods Hosts Hocus Pocus Pops event
The Cynthia Woods Pavilion recently hosted the Hocus Pocus Pops event with the Houston Symphony.
The annual family event featured Halloween-themed activities and music performed by the Houston Symphony.
The event site featured several Halloween decorations, such as inflatable ghosts, headless horsemen, gravestone props and fog, and guests had an opportunity to view decorations aboard the Great Pumpkin Express train.
The Cynthia Woods Pavilion is located at 2005 Lake Robbins Drive, The Woodlands.
Golf Classic to honor local schoolteacher
The Celebrity Golf Classic, hosted by Montgomery County Youth Services, will take place Friday and Saturday, Nov. 16-17, to honor Sylvia Caracio, a retired schoolteacher and Montgomery County Youth Services volunteer.
The Celebrity Stroke Play Tournament and Skins Game will be held Friday, Nov. 16 at The Woodlands Country Club’s east course.
A gala will also be held Friday, Nov. 16, at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center. The event will feature dinner and live and silent auctions.
The Celebrity and Amateur Tournament will take place Saturday, Nov. 17 at the Palmer course of The Woodlands Country Club. The cost for an individual entry is $650, and there are multiple levels of team sponsorship available.
The event is open to the public with proceeds benefiting Montgomery County Youth Services.

Craft Circle Masterpiece Gala includes auctions
The Woodlands United Methodist Church will hold its Craft Circle Masterpiece Gala and Auction at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Woodlands Resort and Conference Center.
The event is open to everyone.
Advance registration is required. Admission is $75 each and $700 for a table of 10.
The gala will feature a three-course dinner, silent and live auctions and an evening of fellowship. Table sponsorships are available.

Dazzling lights turning on at Town Green
Town Green Park’s Dazzling Holiday Lights display will be held from 5:30 p.m.-midnight Saturday, Nov. 17 at Town Green Park in The Woodlands.
Lighted displays, rows of brightly lit trees and illuminated holiday scenes will be featured as part of the free event.
