The Woodlands' Nunes elected as Fellow for American Academy for Park and Recreation
The Woodlands Township announced that Director of Parks and Recreation Chris Nunes was elected to the American Academy for Park and Recreation Administration as a Fellow.
The American Academy for Park and Recreation is an organization of 125 practitioners and scholars committed to the advancement of the park and recreation field.
"The Woodlands Township is very proud of Chris for his achievement," said assistant general manager of community services John Powers in a press release. "It shows that his leadership within the parks and recreation field is highly regarded by others across the country. We are lucky to have him."
