Reffett named development director at MCYS
Montgomery County Youth Services announced that Kelly Reffett has been named its new development director.
"We are very excited to welcome Kelly to MCYS," Montgomery County Youth Services Executive Director John Bracken said in a press release. "She brings with her a wealth of development and organizational experience and a desire to serve our community and take MCYS to the next level."
Reffett has 25 years of experience in development, fundraising, marketing, project management and communications, according to the press release. Prior to joining MCYS, she served as executive director of the American Red Cross of Kankakee County and also served as director of partner relations at the American Red Cross of Greater Chicago Illinois and Illinois State Director at Red Cross AmeriCorps VISTA.
Reffett studied business management at Spoon River College, served as a Habitat for Humanity volunteer, Chamber of Commerce member and board member for several United Ways. From 2003-11 she served as SERVE Illionois State Commissioner.
